AENEID

We all have endured studying the Aeneid in school. These comics strips make use of wisecracks and gags to comment on the Latin epic poem of the poet, Publius Virgil Maro. The gags, sketches and comic strips were accomplished by Monica during her college years.

When the Nuvolari myth was still in the making, his compatriots dubbed him as “Nivola,” a term in their dialect which meant “cloud.” besides the similarity with the champion’s surname, the epithet was a metaphor for lightness and speed, which Tazio was certainly demonstrating.
