Cresce nelle giovanili dell’Inter, passa poi al Brescia nel campionato di Serie B 1937-1938, in seguito in Serie C col Varese. Ritorna in Serie B prima a Novara e poi a Lecco.
Fumetti:
Chiusa la carriera da calciatore diventa disegnatore di fumetti. Lavora dal 1950 con Tristano Torelli in seguito passa alla Casa Editrice Universo. Disegna anche per la Thompson e Fleetway di Londra. In seguito lavora per Editoriale Corno, realizzando Capitan Audax. Collaborazioni con Edifumetto, Intrepido, Il Monello, Bliz, Lanciostory, Full, Boy Music.

Questi fumetti giapponesi (che ancora non si chiamavano manga) erano di una “palla” totale. Affrancati da legami coi cartoni (visto che nessuno ce li aveva fatti vedere) abbiamo realizzato (Malagutti, Truscia, Messora) storie più divertenti degli originali nipponici.
Qui cannibalizzando testi da un LP di un famoso cantautore.

Giovanni Sinchetto, Dario Guzzon & Pietro Sartor

EsseGesse is the collective signature of three Italian artists, Giovanni Sinchetto (Esse), Dario Guzzon (G.) and Pietro Sartoris (Esse), who have built up a collective oeuvre during several decades. Giovanni Sinchetto began his career in 1943 with ‘Fulmine Mascherato’, a comic published by Della Casa. Pietro Sartoris and Dario Guzzon both debuted at the publishing houses Taurina and Alpe.
After these individual projects, the three decided to form a team. For publisher Torelli, they created the character ‘Kinowa’, together with scenario writer Lavezzolo, in 1950. ‘Kinowa’ was soon followed by creations like ‘Capitan Miki’ (1951) and ‘Il Grande Blek’ (1954) at Araldo.
In 1965, they created, ‘Alan Mistero’ (known in France as ‘Ombrax’) and ‘Il Comandante Mark’ (‘Cap’tain Swing’). After the death of his two companions, Dario Guzzon continued ‘Il Comandante Mark’ together with the female illustrator Lina Buffolente until 1999.

Nembo Kid was one of the names of Superman from 1946 to 1966. The first name was Ciclone, l’uomo d’acciaio (Cyclone, the Man of Steel) in Albi della Audacia (1939). Subsequently, Ciclone, l’Uomo fenomeno (Cyclone, The Man Phenomenon) in L’ Audace (1940).
After 1966 he became Superman Nembo Kid and finally from 1967: Superman, in his own comic.
